- Have advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease

- Posses in-depth knowledge of medical transcription guidelines (The AAMT Book of Style)
and practices
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and style, in order to provide consistent quality feedback to the transcriptionists, editors, and supervisors
